VISITATION RULES AS OF 2-12-2013
Visits MUST be scheduled a minimum of one (1) business day in advance by calling the Jail Office at 573-635-7070.
Visiting days are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Visits are scheduled for 1 hour at 9:00 AM, 10:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM, and 3:00 PM.
Visitors should arrive about 10 minutes prior to their scheduled visits to ensure they are checked in and set up for the visit prior to the start time.
Visitors 17 years of age and older will be required to give their name, date of birth, social security number, and a contact telephone number when scheduling a visit.
Visitors 16 years of age and older will be required to give show a valid government issued photo identification card when reporting for a scheduled visit.
All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to participate in a visit.
Only two visitors 13 years of age and older may visit at the same time. Up to two visitors less than 13 years of age may visit while seated on a parent or legal guardian’s lap.
Visitors shall remain seated during the visit. Any excessive noise, moving away from the visitation station, interrupting the visit of another person, or participating in another person’s scheduled visit will result in removal from the visitation center.
You may only leave the visitation center to use the restroom; leaving the visitation center for any other reason will result in cancellation of the current visit.
All cell phones and other electronic devices should be left in your vehicle, or shall be turned off before entering the visitation center. Any cell phone violation will result in immediate cancellation of the current visit.
No Food or drinks are allowed in the visitation room, baby bottles for children less than 2 years of age are authorized.
Any disruptive behavior, profanity, display of a sexual nature or criminal activity of any kind, shall result in cancellation of the current visit.
Visitors who commit a serious violation of visitation rules, or who have committed multiple violations of visitation rules may be suspended from visiting for two weeks at a time, or permanently banned from visiting in the future.
All visitations are audio and video recorded unless the visit is a pre-approved visit from clergy or an attorney.
Inmates are allowed to purchase pre-approved items out of the Commisary. There are multiple ways to put money in an imate account:
There is a kiosk in the lower lever, Jail Lobby for friends and family to put money into an inmate account. There is a $4.00 fee for using the kiosk, the fee is automatically deducted from the transaction.
Money may also be placed on an inmate’s commissary account by going to www.inmatedeposits.com using a credit or debit card, or by calling 1-688-353-1884 using a credit card, debit card, or check by phone.
Money may also be placed on an inmate phone account by calling 1-888-506-8407 using a credit card, debit card, or check by phone.
If you are sending money to an inmate via the postal service make sure it is in the form of Money Order made out to the inmates name.
