Jail Division  

The Jail Division is responsible for the care, custody, control, and transportation of the inmates in the Cole County Jail. The Cole County Jail holds an average of 60 inmates per day and serves over 58,000 meals each year. The Jail Staff process for booking over 4,400 people each year.

The Jail Division has 14 full-time people assigned to the division. The Jail Administrator is a Lieutenant and assisted by a 2 Sergeants. The Cole County Jail is staffed 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
