Administrative Services
The Administrative Services Division consists of the Administration and Civil Departments that provide support to the Patrol Division, Jail Division, and the general public.
The Administration Department is responsible for maintaining the MULES/NCIC terminal, radio communications, courthouse and jail video systems, and entry of all records into the computer system 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The Civil Department is responsible for the service of all legal documents received by the Cole County Sheriffs Office. They serve over 20,000 legal documents per year. The Civil Process deputies also assist the Patrol Division as needed. The Civil Department is available Monday - Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
